Family Program: Festival Voces of El Paso-Celebrating the Voices, the Stories, the Heritage of El Paso

EPMH is hosting a family event to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month. Community partners are coming together to celebrate the voices, stories, history and heritage of El Paso with a special community event. Festival Voces de El Paso will occur on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 10 am to 2 pm This event will feature activities taking place at both the El Paso Museum of History, 510 N. Santa Fe, 79901 and the El Paso Public Library, Main Branch, 501 N. Oregon St., 79901.  The festival is a collaboration between organizations committed to preserving and sharing stories of El Paso’s rich history, including the El Paso Museum of History, the El Paso Public Library, El Paso Community College and the Texas Department of Transportation’s historic preservation program. Festival Voces de El Paso is a free event, offering fun for the entire family. Activities will include arts and crafts, group games like Lotería, story time with the El Paso Public Library, and a scavenger hunt at the El Paso Museum of History, as well as special programing enabling attendees to share, capture and reflect upon their family histories.
