Lucha Libre- A Pop-Up Exhibit and Streetcar Ride featuring Sin Cara

Lucha Libre

The El Paso Museum of History (EPMH), in collaboration with the El Paso Streetcar, invites the public to their newest event, Lucha Libre: Streetcar Ride and Pop-up Exhibit. Experience Lucha Libre like never before with a ride on the streetcar and meet and greet featuring El Paso native luchador, Sin Cara, on Thursday, June 27. Following the ride along, there will be an opportunity for photos, autographs and the unveiling of a pop-up Lucha Libre exhibit at EPMH. The event is part of EPMH’s Last Thursday programming.

The streetcar ride-along with Sin Cara will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Franklin and El Paso streetcar stop (across the street from EPMH). Spots are limited and will be available on a first come first served basis.

Sin Cara grew up in Segundo Barrio and graduated from Burges High School, where he began his wrestling career. He became an International wrestling competitor in both the United States and Mexico, and began his career with WWE in 2009. Along with wrestling, Sin Cara is also passionate about giving back to the El Paso community.

Following the Streetcar ride, beginning 7:00 p.m., Sin Cara will be available for autographs, and pictures at EPMH. The Lucha Libre Pop-Up exhibit will be unveiled at 7:30 p.m., kicking off a social hour with live music, food, and a cash bar. Featured in the Pop-Up exhibit will be items from Sin Cara’s personal collection, which will serve as a preview for the upcoming Lucha Libre exhibition at EPMH, scheduled to open in 2021.
